THE FREE STATE FLAG.
I notice that the flags displayed ia the city decorations do not include the Men Free State flag. I am satisfied that the omission is not intentional—it is due more to want of knowledge— of the existence of the Wnt State, its flap, and constitution. Healy, Governor-Generaa of the Irish Free State. This was not the banquet on St. Patrick's Day, when the Prinoe of Walct was present. There is no inuetice to Inland here, but rather an injustice to the everwhelming majority of the citizens of Auckland, who never bother «ibout the city .decorations at any time, hut who do take.'an intcl* Hgcnt interest in the Kmpire, of which tie Free Stat« is no insignificant part.
