"TWO UP" SCHOOL RAIDED.

ON BANKS OF THE OROUA. POLICE LIE IN HIDING. SURPRISE SPRUNG OX GROUP. (Br Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) FEILDTNG, Monday. Yesterday afternoon Constables ' 'c- J Call and Pike, of Feilding, made a successful raid on a "two-up" school which it has been common, knowledge has been operating for months past in a secluded spot on the banks of the Oroua River at Feilding. On every occasion previously, when the police had attempted to catch the "school, " their plans had been thwarted. The police lay in hiding close to the ring, watching the tossing of coins for about two hours and taking careful, concise notes and descriptions before they sprang their surprise on the group. The names of about a dozen men were taken, and they will be charged with the offence in due course at the Feilding Court. i
