Heavy Damage to Fruit Crops. DEBWENT VALLEY SWEPT. HOB ART, February 20. A hailstorm swept the Midlands, the Derwcnt Valley, Hobart, and the Huon districts. It was accompanied by torrential rain in the main shopping" thoroughfares of Hobart. Extenvre damage was done both in tho couLiry and in the city. In the country districts the hay" and apple crops have suffered severely.
