FROZEN MEAT. PRICES AT SMITHFIELD. The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board has received the following cable from its London office, dated February IS, advising Smithfield delivered prices at that date as follows: — New Zealand Ewes.—(Old season), 641b and under, -id per lb. New Zealand Lambs.—Canterbury qualitv (old season\, 361b and under, 9%d per lb: 371b to 421b, per lb; 431b to sUlb. 7%d per lb. New Zealand Beef. —Ox, fores per lb, hinds 4d. Argentine Chilled Beef.—Ox, fores 4d per lb, hinds 6%d per lb. Argentine Frozen Beef.—Ox, fores 3Vid per lb, hinds 4d per lb. Frozen Pork.—Bolb to 1201b, 74d per lb; 1201b to ISOlb. 7V»d per lb. Lamb and "Wether. —Prices nominal, at about last week's values. Quantity available not sufficient to quote, owing to delay of carrying steamers. Ewes steady, but demand is only limited. Chilled Beef.—There was cultailment of supplies this week, owing to several carrying steamers being fog-bound. Large supplied will be landed next week. LONDON, February- IC.
