(By Telegraph.—Press Association. \ WELLINGTON. Sunday. A remarkably fine performance was registered in the high jump competition at tinOlympic Chili's sports meeting yesterday. ISrody and Skeats hoth cleared '."iff lfUi':i and the former then cleared 6ft. This" is stated to he the best jump recorded bv a New Zea lander in New Zealand. The Australian and New Zealand record is Oft Uin made bv Kelly (Victoria), which was also put up in New Zealand. Brody endeavoured to clear Cft 11 in and failed only by a touch.
