WRONG RIGHTED. GALLIPOLI PILGRIMS/ [TURKISH MISUNDERSTANDING (Received 3 p.m.) LONDON, December 21. The Turkish Government has anjiounced that local authorities had misinterpreted the instructions issued regarding the St. Barnabas pilo-rims .thereby causing difficulties. Measures have now been taken to prevent a repetition of the trouble. The St. Barnabas pilgrimage visited the war graves of Gallipoli in September After their vessel had been stranded for several hours on an uncharted sand bank, the Turkish authorities prevented the pilgrims from landing at Anzac Cove and Suvla Bay, the party ultimately being allowed to visit the cemeteries from V. Beach.
