QUESTION OF TREATMENT. NATIONAL BASIS WANTED. (By Telegraph—Special to "S'ar.") \ CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Hospilal :Bbard,> tp-day. we have specialised in the treatment o£ tuberculosis in Canterbury we have been placed in the position that ratepayers are bearing an unfair financial burden. We want this removed by having the disease treated ou a national basis." These remarks followed the presentation of a report -from Pγ. Blacljmore, medical director. The board decided to foi-ward a copy of the report to all hospital boards, and request the Hospital Boards Association to hold a -special conference of board representatives with tuberculosis experts a day prior'to the Hospital Boards Conference, to consider the whole question of the treatment of tuberculosis in New. .Zealand.
