SUPREME COURT PROCEEDINGS.
ADJOURNED TO JANUARY 14. The hearing of further argument in the Supreme Court in connection with the application of Albert Hendry Smith for a writ to prohibit the Takapuna Borough Council from acting as No. 2 Licensing Authority on the ground of alleged bias has been postponed to January 14. Mr. G. P. Finlay, counsel for the Takapuna Borough Council, has intimated that he is unable to present the defence at present, and the committee in the meantime will not deal with the application. r In consequence of the postponement of the proceedings, the Devonport-Milford bus service will r u n through the holidays. This however, is not countenanced by ' h a e 'r»r g and such action may be the subject of further litigation
