CHRISTMAS AND NEW TEAR HOLIDAYS, 1926-1927. POSTAL BRANCH HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS. FRIDAYS, 24t1» and 31st December—An over-counter delivery of town letters, registered as. -well as ordinary, will be made from the Postmen's Branch. First Floor between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. A special clearance (City) will be made at t> p.m. ON CHRISTMAS EVE the midnight clearance of street letter boxes will not be made. SATURDAY, 25th December (Christmas Day) , , will be observed as a close holiday. MONDAY, 27th December (Boxing Day) will be observed as a close holiday. All mails will close at 4 a.m., with the exception of those for dispatch by the "Limited" and the ordinary express train, which will close at a p;m. and 5.30 pjn. respectively.
