AN UNSOLVED MYSTERY.
' . TRAGICALLY-WORDED NOTE. "DON'T WORRY TO LOOK FOR US." "Don't worry to look for us. We have failed and cannot face the world any longer. Good-bye—W.S." This was the text of a note found in an old grey coat by the police on the steps at the end of the Queen's wharf last night. The steps were sprinkled with blood, and near the coat was an old grey cap and a razor The waterfront police made extensive inquiries to-day, but so far the mystery is unsolved. * J J The police advised this afternoon that the name "W Smith" appeared in a cap found on the steps. There is a man ot that name missing.
