WAIKATO NOTES.

HMrs. William 6, of Wairarapa, ie the <ruest of her daughter, HMrs. F. Luxford, Hamilton. Mr. and HMrs. J. A. Davidson, of Wellington, have been on a visit to Hamilton. Mrs. E. HR. Lee, of Cambridge, has left on a visit to Sydney. HMrs. R. Ferguson, has returned to Cambridge, from a visit to Scotland. Mr. and Mrs. J. J. de Stigter. of Java, are on a visit to Hamilton. Mrs. S. Waring, of England, is staying in Claudelands. Mrs. E. HRawson has returned to Auckland, from a holiday spent in Hamilton. Mrs. Morrison has returned to New Plymouth, from a visit to Cambridge. Mrs. Sell has returned to Taranaki from a visit to Hamilton, where she was the guest of Mrs. Harrowell. Mr. and Mrs. E. Allan, of Wellington, have been .staying in Cambridge. Mrs. Kavll has returned to Stratford from a visit, to Hamilton. Mrs. and Mrs. Gill, Sydney, are visiting Cambridge. Mrs. HR. Farrer, of Te Kuiti, has been staying In Hamilton with Mr. and Mrs. O. HR. Farrer. Miss Pearce, of Opotiki, is the guest of Mrs. 0. M. Monckton, Hamilton. A bridge evening was held at. the Lyceum Club on Thursday night, and was an enjoyable function. An enjoyable time was spent on the Waikato River at Hamilton on Monday. Mr. D. Hay and Mr. 0. R. Farrer, entertained the members of the Synod, visiting clergy, their hosts and hostesses to a run down the river and back to the wharf. The ladies present were: Mesdames J. T. McWilliam, 0. R.
