YOUNG MAN CHARGED. COMHMITTED FOR SENTENCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, this day. James Houston (2~>), appeared before Justices of the Peace this morning, charged that on September 1, at Palmerston North, he obtained, by means of a valueless cheque, a £15 suit of clothes and £2 in cash, from Leslie Willis: also that on the same date he did make a false document, to wit. a cheque for £I.~> 0/(i. drawn on the Bank cf Australasia. Stratford, purporting to be signed hy F. Bridgeman. farmer, of Kohuratahi. and did act upon the ..nne by uttering it to Reginald Thorald Jaggard.
