AFTER SEVENTEEN YEARS.

I REG. GISBY'S CHANGE OVER. BENEFIT TO PURCHASING PUBLIC. One of the best known men in the furniture trade of Auckland is Mr. Reg. Gisby, whose business " premises aro situated in Dundonald Street, Newton. Mr. Gisby is an expert, and for seventeen years he manufactured for retail shops in the city and suburbs. HMuch of all the best furniture in good homes in Auckland was made by Mr. Gisby, but he was not known in the transaction as far as the individual purchaser was concerned. The credit was taken by the retailer. In Mr. Gisby's own words: "They in turn added their profits to my prices; now you can purchase furniture from my factory at trade prices." It is certainly well that the people should know that a higliclass manufacturer is prepared to supply the public at trade prices. The middleman's profits are eliminated and the public are assured of the difference. Providing a good home means a large initial outlay - and it ie gratifying to learn that by buying at trade or factory •prices the purchaser may save from onethird to one-quarter of the total. After all it is value that one requires, and as an earnest of his announcement Mr. Gisby throws out the invitation to everybody interested to visit his factory showroom and inspect hie quality productions. Being a specialist and knowing the trade of Auckland from A to Z, he has all the best and latest designs and he wishes the public to inspect the workmanship for themselves. Lastly he desires the public to ask for his prices and compare the furniture and the prices with others. If the money is available a purchaser is foolish to pay higher prices than can be obtained the Gisby way. The premises are open daily from 8.30 to 5.30 p.m. and on Fridays till 9 p.m. Closing hour on Saturdays is noon. To reach Mr. Gisby's factory take the first street off the left of Newton Road (then you will see the sign), straight down from the top of Symonds Street.
