HERBERT BROS.' ENTERPRISE. PIONEERS IN THE BUSINESS. The manufacture of leadlights is an important industry, and Messrs. Herbert Bros., of Bank Street, off Shortland Street, arc pioneers in this business in Auckland. They commenced operations twenty years ago> and have built up a large business. They claim to be the only firm in Auckland that specialises iv this class of work. It is not a sideline. The materials used are all imported from the best factories in England.. A lurge staff of experts and qualified men is employed, the success of the business being due to the pergonal supervision of one or other of the principals on all orders. This is a most important factor in this class of work. Many of the biggest and most important contracts in Auckland for this class of work have been carried out by Herbert Bros. The magnificent range of glasses to choose from is a revelation, There are 30 kinds of white glass, besides a vast collection of coloured. Architects should be good judges of work done, and Messrs. Herbert Bros, stand high in the estimation of leading men of the profession. All lead used is hydraulic drawn. Orders are executed from plans of the actual size, and therefore the leadlights are exact to requirements. All the work is thoroughly well cemented by competent men—a most important feature. The firm specialise in drawing, and submit designs of their own. The Herbert Bros.' slogan is "Efficient staff, prompt service, and dispatch." The glass most in demand at the presen time is white. This works up splendidly arid gives an artistic white and black effect. As Messrs. Herbert Bros.' prices compare favourably with other firms, and as they are specialists, those who want lead- I lights made should visit the firm's factory and have a look for themselves. J
