INTERNATIONAL RUGBY.
FRENCH TOUR TO N.Z. RUMOUR OF CANCELLATION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. It is understood that a cablegram has been received by the New Zealand Rugby Union announcing that the proposed tour of New Zealand by a French team next year has been cancelled. The matter was referred to the chairman of the union, Mr. S. S. Dean, but he stated that he had uo auuouucement to make.
