Eagle, of Kaiapoi, when she fell, through alighting from a moving tram in Cathedral Square at 9 o'clock on Saturday night. Mrs. Eagle apparently thought the tram had arrived at its stopping place and stepped off. She was caught by a portion of the under-carriage of the car and dragged a short distance.
