A departure taken from Auckland yesterday afternoon was the Nobel auxiliary schooner, Piri, laden with timber for Adelaide. From the last-named port the schooner will proceed to Melbourne to load another cargo of explosives for New Zealand. GUSTAY AT SYDNEY. After 14 days occupied in her passage across the Tasman, the German four-' masted barque Gustav, which was dispatched from Auckland for Sydney on December 5, has reached her destination At the Australian port the barque is to go into dock and will later load a cargo of wheat for the Continent. PULPIT POINT RADIOS. According to radio advice received by the Vacuum Oil Company from their tanker. Pulpit Point, she is due to arrive at Auckland from San Pedro at 6 o'clock to-morrow morn lag. Fcr the purpose of pumping oil intjO the company's tanks at Freeman's Bay, tbe tanker has been allotted a berth at the Western wharf. To complete discharge the Pulpit Point will* later proceed to Sydney and Adelaide. * FORERIC TO SAIL. It Is announced by the local agents, Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane, that the Weir Line steamer Foreric, which is completing discharge of her phosphate at the King's wharf, will sail to-morrow afternoon. From this port the Foreric will proceed to Westport to replenish her bunkers and will subsequently leave the coal port for Nauru, where she will load another cargo of phosphate. THE WEST CONOB. - For further discharge of her cargo from the Pacific Coast the American-Australian Orient Line cargo steamer West Conob, which arrived at Auckland on Friday last, is to be dispatched for Napier on Thursday next. The following navigation warning was ; broadcasted by Brisbane Radio at 2.3 a.m. yesterday: "The outer green buoy at Freeman's Channel is reported to have disappeared." i THE TOFCA. It is announced by the Union Company 1 that the Island steamer Tofua left Apia at noon on Friday last for Suva. She is expected to clear the Fijian port for Anckland on Thursday nest to arrive here about the following Friday. THE SOUTHERN CROSS. The Melanesian Mission steamer. Southern Cross, which was cabled to have left Noumea. is due to arrive at Auckland to-morrow. She has on board for here seven of the mission staff, including Dr. Fox, Rev. Mountford, and the Rev. Godfrey. THE HINEMOA. Au expected arrival at Auckland on YVed- ; nesday next is tbe Government steamer Hinemoa, from Suva. It is advised by the local agents. Spedding. Ltd., that she will sail for Norfolk Island on Tuesday of next week. CASSIOPEE TO UNDOCK. The French sloop Cassiopee, which went into dock last Thursday for cleaning and painting, is to undock to-morrow, and will ' berth at the Central wharf. The sloop is scheduled to leave Auckland for Dunedin on about Thursday next. THE ROTORCA. ! A radio message received from the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Rotorua states that she is due to arrive at Auckland from London and Southampton, via the Panama route, on Friday nest. From this port the steamer will proceed to Wellington, Bluff, Timaru and Lyttelton. HUNTINGDON'S MOVEMENTS. Now homeward loading at Wellin**ron. the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Huntingdon is expected to leave the capital port on Tuesday of next week for Picton. Auckland. Napier and Gisborne. She is scheduled to sail finally from the lastnamed ' port for London and other Home ports on January 13. THE ATHENIC. An expected arrival at Wellington this evening is the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Athenic, from London and Southampton. The liner, which has on board 539 passengers, most of whom are immigrants, is expected to be dispatched to-morrow afternoon for Port Chalmers, Lyttelton and Napier to unload. TREVORIAN REPORTS. A radio report received from the A. and A. Line chartered steamer Trevorian, by the local agents, the New Zealand Shippin"Company, states that she Is due to arrive at Anckland at noon on Thursday next from New York. For further discharge, the steamer will later proceed to Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton. and Dunedin. MAUNGANUI TO-MORROW. According to radio advice, the Union Company's passenger steamer Maunganui is due to arrive at Anckland from Sydney at noon to-morrow. She will berth at the Central wharf. The Maunganui is announced to sail on her return trip to Sydney on Friday next. UNION COMPANY'S STEAMERS. Movements of steamers under the flag of the Union Company are announced as follow:— The Kaiapoi was expected to arrive at Anckland at 3 p.m. to-day from Grevmouth, via Napier. The Wainui, which arrived yesterday from East Coast ports, is scheduled to sail again to-day at 10 p.m. for Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne, and Napier. The Kaponga was to leave Westport to-day for New Plymouth and Auckland. The Kamo was expected to leave Lyttelton at 3 p.m. to-day for Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. The Komata is announced to leave Wellington at 11 p.m. to-morrow for Westport. The Kurow is scheduled to sail at 10 p.m. to-day for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. The Kaiwarra is to leave Lyttelton on December 31 -.for Melbourne, where she will load an Australian cargo for New Plymouth, Wellington, Napier, and Auck-1 land. NIAGARA IN PORT. An arrival at Auckland mis morning was the Union Company's passenger steamer Niagara, from Sydney. After pratique had been granted, the steamer berthed at the Queen's wharf to disembark passengers and unload general cargo. On this trip the Niagara experienced good weather all the way excepting for the first day out from Sydney, when bad weather and high seas were encountered She is scheduled to sail at 11 a.m. to-morrow for Vancouver, via the usual ports.
