The St. John Ambulance Brigade are an indispensable auxiliary to our great public services. They are a body of voluntary workers, imbued with a pure love of service. Organisers of any kind of public gathering may apply for their attendance on all occasions, and thereby relieve themselves of a large responsibility. The organisation rely upon the goodwill of the public for the means to carry on their good work.
