THE UNEMPLOYED.
THE WEEK'S FIGURES. At noon to-day there were 597 names on the unemployed list of the Labour Department. Of this number 491 were entered in class A as fit for heavy work and the remaining 106 in class B, as fit for light work. Forty men have been placed in employment during the week.
