(Before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.) NO WORK AND NO HOME. ..««? St ,?'f ht Frederick Watterstrand (60) called at the police station for shelter, stating that he had no work and nowhere to go. He pleaded guilty to the resultant charge of being an idle and disorderly person with insufficient means of support. Sub-Inspector Lewin said that accused had been in hospital for two months. Captain Davies, of the Salvation Army, said that he would take care of Watterstrand, although he was suffering from an injury to his left side and his place was really in the hospital. Accused was remanded for one week in the care of the Salvation Army. A WEEK'S REMAND. When John Nugent (28), appeared on a charge of having assaulted Thomas O'Brien, Chief Detective Cummings, in asking for a week's remand, said that by I that time he would be in a better position to place the circumstances before the Court. .
