Tbe selection of " Miss Auckland " and her attendant took place at Hi* Majesty* Theatre last night amid much excitement and enthusiasm. The honour fell to Miss Anita Sutherland, on left, who had been the popular selection of the theatre audiences throughout. Miss Sutherland also topped the newspaper poll by a substantial majority. Miss Ellen Ford, on the right, who had been second during the last few days of the voting, was chosen as Maid of Honour. This evening " Miss New Zealand" will be announced at the theatre.
