CROUCH MURDER CASE.
ACCUSED WOMAN ACQUITTED. LONDON, November 10. The jury found Mrs. Crouch not guilty of the charge of murdering her husband, Frank Crouch, farmer, at Clacton-on-Sca on August 20. The evidence disclosed that unhappiness had arisen between husband and wife on account of the former's attentions to a servant girl and other women. Mrs. Crouch became incensed; considering that she had been married for her money. In the course of a quarrel with her husband Mrs. Crouch was knocked clown. She had a revolver which she took from her pocket to frighten her husband, but the weapon went off accidentally and shot 'iim. The verdict %vas received with wild applause by a crowded Court.
