WORLD ECONOMICS.
GENEVA CONFERENCE. GENEVA, November 19. The preparatory commission of the League of Nations arranging for the World Economic Conference, has excluded from the agenda as inopportune, Italy's demand that migration should be regarded as one of the most vital economic features of the world to-day. Japan's claim to equality of treatment by foreign nationals who have already "been admitted to another country where they are engaged in commerce or industry has been admitted. The commission is of opinion that many difficulties included in the agenda are wholly of European and not worldwide interest. The conference, the opening date of which has been tentatively fixed for May 4 next, will consist entirely of official Government delegates, five from, each country.
