Following the conferences at the end of last week between the miners representatives and members of the Cabinet the vote of the men on the terms submitted by the Government, taken over the districts, has resulted in the rejection of the proposed settlement. Future movements will depend on the decision of a delegates conference, which will be called upon to say whether or not further negotiations for a national settlement will take place through the Government.
