_ Food often goes "wrong" through being carelessly put away. Raw meat should hang in a cool place or a draught and be covered with muslin when flies are about. It should be partially cooked to kill the germs of decay. Cooked meat should be put on a clean dish, free from gravy. It should be covered with a wire cover or put in a meat safe. Particular notice should be paid to those parts which press on the dish. Fish should be rubber! with salt and washed before use.
