Heavy Applications For Back Numbers.

OVER HALF THE BODIES NOW PUBLISHED. ONLY TWO MORE WEEKS TO RUN. Excitement and interest reaches a high stage with the third block of the bodies, for you now have over half the bodies to work on, and with next Wednesday's block there will be sixty heads. Applications for back copies are coming in in big numbers, and there are still a few left for the late comers. If you have not yet joined in do not delay, but send in your applications for the first four parts of this great competition. Copies may be obtained at the advertising counter, or will be posted out to any address at the usual price, plus postage. HINTS ON HOW TO SET TO WORK. When the next block of heads comes out on Wednesday next you will see that the bull's head (No. 50) belongs to the bull's body (No. 49) in the block shown above. In all probability you will find above many bodies which will fit the heads already published, Next week, when more heads and bodies appear, you will be able to find others, and if you cut the pictures out of the paper and keep them till the last appears, by then you will be able to find a body for every head. It must be remembered that all heads in this diagram cannot be completed from the bodies printed previously. But in all cases the body to correspond with the head will be published during the course of the competition. While the bodies and heads are the separated parts of complete sketches of the animals, you should bear in mind that an absolute fit is not necessary, small portions of the neck being in some instances removed. Follow the specimen given in the paper, and make out your list. The closing date of the competition will be announced later. If there is anything you do not understand write to PETER PAN, and your question will be answered in the "INQUIRY" column a* soon as possible. RULES GOVERNING THE COMPETITION. 1.
