WAIUKU FLOWER SHOW.
PRINCIPAL AWARDS. TROPHIES AND POINTS PRIZES. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIUKU, this day. The Waiuku Horticultural and Industrial Association's annual summer show held yesterday, was a complete success, cutries being large and quality good. . Mr. H. M. Barriball won the challenge cup presented by Mrs. Sellars for the best twelve roses, twelve varieties, Mrs. F. J. Bregman being second, and Mrs. E. A. Kidd" third. In the produce exhibits, the first award for tne best quarter-ewt of potatoes was won by Mr. W. H. McNaughton. who becomes the first holder of the Pioneer Cup, presented by Mr. C. Buttimore. Second place was secured by Mr. T. H. Davidson, and third by Marshall Bros. The special prize for most points in the jliow was awarded to Mr. W. J. Wright, who also carried off the points prizt- for garden produce. Mr. H. M. Barriball won the points prize for roses. Mrs. E. A. Kidd the points prize for cut flowers, while Mrs. W. McEwen carried fti the poiutr- prizes for pot plants and decorative classes.
