BUSES TO MOUNT ROSKILL.
A meeting of the members of the Mount Roskill Ratepayers and Progressive Association and residents of Mount Roskill was held last evening, and presided over by Mr. J. T. Chadderton. A lengthy discussion took place on the present bus services serving the district, and also regarding tramway matters, and the following resolutions were passed, to be forwarded through the Mount Roskill Road Board to the Auckland City Tramway Committee: (1) That reduction in fares for school children be made by concession cards, to be at half the rate of the parents' adult concession card. (2) That Id section fares be uniform on all sections both by buses and trams. (3) That buses meet trams, and vice-versa, on both Dominion Road and Mount Eden lines at quarter-hour intervals, and times to be at the hour, quarter-past, half-hour, and three-quarter hour, to save confusion. (4) That fares for school children from Mount Roskill School in buses to Technical School, Onehunga, be Id, and to Tepia Baths 2d, each way in both cases, and necessary accompanying teacher or teachers (2) be allowed free transport. (5) That the Mount Roskill Road Board facilitate the formation of a Transport Board. (0) That concession cnrds be available on both buses and trams on all routes.
