BOYS IN TROUBLE.
TWENTY-ONE CHARGES OF THEFT. With twenty-one charges of breaking, entering and theft against their names, involving a total amount of £28, over the periods of September, October, and November, two boys agetl 11 and 12 years respectively, appeared before Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M., in the Children's Court this morning Senior Detective Hammond enumerated the 21 offences, which consisted of breaking into offices and rifling drawers. The younger hoy was not normal, ana should be put under control. Mr. Cubit, juvenile welfare officer, suggested in the case of the elder boy that the .matter be adjourned to enable the mother to have him placed in the Presbyterian Home. The magistrate granted the adjournment for two weeks in the case of the elder hoy. and committed the other boy to !'n» care of the superintendent.
