FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY.

COACH MEETS COMMITTEE.

Prior to the commencement of the ordinary business at last night's meeting of the management committee of the Auckland Cricket Association, E. EL Bowley, tne new player-coach, was introduced to the delegates by the chairman (Mr. E. E. Nalder). It waa arranged that Mr. Bowley should meet the special coaching committee this morning to dißcuea the arrangements made for the employment of his services.

A letter waa received from. the Wellington Association suggesting January 7, 8 and 10 aa dates for a match between the Wellington representatives and the Auckland touring team at the Basin Reserve, Wellington; the net proceeds of the match to be divided in the proportion of 00 per cent and 40 per cent to the Wellington and Auckland Associations respectively.

"If that is not a case of 'fifty-fifty,' I would like to know when one arises," observed Mr. E. C. Beale when the letter waa read. "Further than that, 5 per cent of the net proceeds go to the New Zealand Cricket CounciL Then again, Bowley will be an additional attraction."

On Mr. Beale's motion, it wu>_ decided to auggest that after .1 per cent had been paid to the N.Z. Cricket Council, tho net proceeda be divided equally. The entries received for the various competitiona totalled 78, the figures for each grade being aa follows:—Seniors, 8. senior B, 6; aecond grade, A fl, B 8; third grade, A 10, B 10, C 8; fourth grade, A 10, B 10; aecondary achoola (second grade), 4. The chairman (Mr. Nalder), and Messrs. Beale and Saundera (hon. secretary) were appointed a apecial committee to supervise the association's coaching acheme. SATURDAY'S ARRANGEMENTS. All matches on Saturday will commence at 2 p.m., stumpa being drawn at 8.15 p.m., the hitter in accordance with the Association's time schedule, which provides: —November, December, January, and February, (i.lo p.m.; March Ist to loth, 8 p.m.; March 17th to 31st, 5.45 p.m.; April Ist to lath, 5.15 p.m.; April Kith to 30th and May, ,3 p.m. The following fixtures were arranged for next Saturday: — SENIOR-.
