LONDON, October 20.
,At the inquest on 'Mrs. Vetch (who was found dead on the stairway ■of her house) a verdict of death from natural causes was returned. ■
Evidence revealed that the body wae poorly nourished and neglected. A doctor stated that Mrs. Vetch was subject to heart disease, and in his opinion she was overtaken by an attack while climbing the stairs, and fell, fracturing her skull.
George Tinline Uudden, a nephew, gave evidence that deceased was a very strong-willed woman and resented any interference in her affairs. He was powerless to do anything in her interests.
It is estimated that the furniture and art treasures in tbc house are valued at £50,000.- •
