CHRISTCHURCH WOMAN'S HOARD.

CHRISTCHURCH, this day.
Last Friday Miss Elizabeth Macready was found dead in a house in which she had lived as a recluse at Governor's Bay. The police, on searching the premises, found sixty pounds hidden in various places, and yesterday an officer of the Public Trust Office, when making further search of the premises, found a. further sum of £70 hidden in a petrol case among newspapers. There were six ten pound notes, eight pounds in silver and two one pound notes.
