STRAYING HORSES.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I think it is about time our City officials took some action to stop people grazing their horses on the roads and unfenced sections. Around Newton there are horses running about day and night. You cannot have a gate open or a property unoccupied for a day but a. horse comes wandering along. A few fines inflicted on the owners of thes e wandering mokes would Eoon put an end to it.—l am, etc., BANDOLPH MONTAGUE. —^
