The export pork scheme is now meeting with good support throughout the North Island (writes our Feildjng correspondent). New "districts are'linking up with the Manawatu Association in an organised effort to get the exportable pigs on the Home markets. Inquiries have been received from suppliers Fegarding the deductions made from the advance payments on export pigs. The position is that the exportable pi<Ts are on consignment, and the pigs remain the property of the supplier until sold by the executive on the owner's behalf. The executive arrange with Dalgety and Co to make an advance against the exportable pigs, the advance being based oil the average of local market rates.
