Fat cattle sold at about last week's rates, but" fat sheep scarooly maintained the «not" rise recorded last week. Nevertheless it was a good sale, Store sheep were on a slightly easier plane, but spring Jambs showed a further advance. Store Sbeep.---A fairly large entry, ewes and lambs predominating. Ewes were mostly pifj sorts. Good wether hoggets sold well, making to 3773. Ewe hoggets and ewes and lambs were easier, pens of th.c latter being pa«3ed. All round the market was not so brisk as last week. Good failing mouth ewes and lambs made 16/11 to 20/8. (•'airly good aged ewes and lambs 13/ to 14/9. inTerior aged ewes una lambs, tq/s to 18/6; good wether hoggets, 25/6 to 37/3; wetper hoggets, 23/ to 24/; snorn si. and eight-tooth halfbred welbers, 17/ to to/i; four and sixsiootb. halfbred wethers, 24/6 to 80/.

Spring Lambs.-rr-A heavy entry or 29Q head. Nevertheless there was a further hardening on last week's sales. Prices were rrqm 23/ to 36/, the bulk being over 32/. Fat sheep, —An increased entry and a brisk sale, values being- only about a shilling a bead lower than the high prlees prevailing last week. A fair nhmber of shorn wethers were forward. Extra prime wethers, 44/' to 47/10; prime wethers, 38/ to 43/; medium Wethers, 3 a'/ to 37/6; light wethers, 33/ to 34/9; extra prime ewes to 38/1; prime ewes, 31/6 to g5/; medium ewes, 28/ to 31/; light ewes, 26/ to' 27/9; prime shorn weiners, 2a/6 to 33/4; medium shorn wethers, 26/ to 2^/.
