JEWELS STOLEN.
MILLIONAIRE'S LOSS. BURGLARS AT BIARRITZ. PARIS. October 17. A haul of several million pounds worth of jewels was "made by burglars at Biarritz, who entered the resilience of Capt. Lowenstein. the millionaire.
Capt. Lowenstein recently offered 1 Belgium and France £10,000,000 for two years free of interest. It was stated, however, from a German source that the offer was conditional on his being given the electrification of the railways.
