SOME LABORATORY MARVELS. In the University College Hall this evening Mr. F. L. Armitage wil give a public .ecture entitled '"Laboratory AYork and its Results 'in the Hospital and FujlEHealth Services."' The researches of investigators in hos- I pital and public health laboratories have given wonderful results in the fight against disease, in the prevention of epidemics, and in the diagnosis and treatment, while much knowledge has , been gained by research on consumption. ■ cancer, malaria and plague.
