« URS STOLEN AND BURNED. The wanton habit of destroyin motor ears which have been "borrowed for a joyride appears to be increasing! prevalent in Auckland. Twice this wee have motor ears been stolen fror private garages, and later been foun reduced to a wreck of charred junk. O Tuesday evening a car was stolen fror the garage of Mr. V. M. Hills, at Arnc Road, Remuera, and next day it wa found at Ellerslie a burnt ruin. Th following evening a five-seater ca belonging to Mr. Wm. Archer, of Moun Albert Road. Three Kings, was similarl misused and destroyed. Despite a "jsurance of £2."i0, Mr." Archer estimate his loss at £12."..
