POLLARD CUP.
There wore two Pollnrrt Cup games down for Saturday, but Collncre Rifles failed to field a team, giving Murist Old Boys a win by default. The other game, between Grammar Old Boys and Manukau, was very closely contested. Grammar winning by 9 points to 8. Badeley kicked two penalty goals, and Monteith scored a try for Grammar. Pearce ■cored a try for Manukau, and Lipscombe converted, and he also kicked a penalty goal.
