In the Magistrate's Court to-day, befo,re>. justices of the peace, George Huteheson Lang, until recently registrar of the Supreme Court at Palmerston Xorth, pleaded, guilty to a charge that, between March 6, 1925, and August 20, 1926, at Palmerston North, being registrar of the Supreme Court, he received from various .persons sums of money totalling ' £209 9/6, on terms requiring him to account for and pay them to the New Zealand Government, he failed to do so, thereby committing theft. Accused was committed to the Supreme Court at Wellington for sentence, bail being allowed.
