THE NEW ZEALAND TEAM. PROPOSED ENGLISH TOUR. PASSAGES PENCIL/LED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTOHUKiOH, this day. The New Zealand Cricket Council has pencilled passages for the New Zealand cricket team on R.M.S. Tahiti, leaving the Dominion on March 29 next. If the tour eventuates the team will travel via America and thence to .Southampton. MORRINSVILLE CLUB. (From Our Own Correspondent.) MORRINSVILLE, Friday. At the annual meeting of the Morrlneville Cricket Club the following officers were elected:—Patron, The Mayor (Mr. C. M. Gammer) ; president, Mr. W. McPherson; vice-presidents, Messrs. R. C. Allen, W. R. Lowry, G. Howie, and D. D. Dendy; hon. secretary, Mr. C. H. Mclntyre; treasurer, Mr. W. McPherson; delegates to Piako Cricket Association, Mesers. P. S. Philpott and C. H. Mclntyre; committee, Messrs. P. S. Philpott, R. E. Scott, and I. A. Jones. GRAFTON UNITED CLUB. The annual general meeting of the above club was held on Thursday evening, in the Grafton Public Library, Mr. H. Horspool presiding over a good attendance of members and intending members. In his re marks the chairman congratulated the third grade team on winning their grade, and E. Horepool and G. Goodacre on obtaining tbe highest batting averages in the senior and third grade respectively. Congratulations were also extended to C. Allocott on his selection for the New Zealand team last year, and on the fine batting performances shown by him in Australia on the tour, thue ' gaining for hint tbe Redpath Cup. E. Horspool C. Allcott, and B. Rowntree aleo gained representative honours in the Auckland team. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. S. Hesketb ; vice-patron, Mr. A. Freeman; president, Mr. H. Hamilton, J Leach, and R. G. Sloman; delegates to A.C.A., Messrs. E. Horspool, H. Wilson, and *i. Goodwin ; selection committee, E. Horspool, 0. Goodwin, and C. N. Thomas.
