GAMING LAW BROKEN.
WOMAN FINED «T6. UNUSUAL FEATURES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. Annie Elizabeth Brown was fined £75 to-day for using premises as a common gaming house on September 16, and Heury William Hume, for assisting, was fined £10. The premises were then a tobacconist's and hairdressiug saloon occupied by her husband, the betting transaction being in an office. Decision was reserved in a charge against Thomas Alfred Brown, of wilfully permitting his premises to be used as a common gaming house by his wife.
