N.Z. TROTTING ASSOCIATION ELECTION OF OFFICBKS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHKISTCHTJRCH, this day. A meeting of the board of the New Zealand Trotting Association to-day elected the following officers : President, Mr. J. H. Williams; vice-president, Mr. H. Vf. Kitchingham; hon. treasurer, Mr. W. J. M. Hopkins; Licensing Committee, Messrg. W. H. Denton and Hopkins; Colours Committee, the prpsident and Mr. Hopkins; Appeal Committee, president, vice-presi-dent and Mr. W. Hayward ; Foreign Horse Committee, Messrs. C. F. Mark, Denton. J. M. Samson. E. A. Armstrong, and Hayward ; associated members on the Stipendiary Stewards' Committee, the president and vice-president. Mr. J. F. W. Dicbson, solicitor. Auckland, wrote in reference to the action of the association in withholding the driving license of Robert Millen. It was decided that Miilen be asked to appear at the next meeting to show why the action of the Licensing Committee in refusing him a driver's license for the season should not be upheld. The Otahuhu Club wrote stating thatthe fine of £2 imposed on Mr. W. E. Perry, for being late in the birdcage, would not be inflicted.
