OUR FOOTBALL TESTS.
LAST TWO WINNERS. POXSONBV AND PARNELL RESIDENTS. The "Star's"' Sports special football competition of last week (No. 1") was won by Mr. F. Walker, of Wanga«iui Avenue. Ponsonby. who had neglected to sign his coupon, but was able to satisfactorily identify it later. His forecast was a most exceptional one.- being only one point out in all three matches. For the competition decided this week (No. 18). on the League matches played last week, fully 300 competitors predicted the winners, but only six of them got within a dozen point? of the actual scores. The winner, however, got the actual figures in one game, and was very close to them in the other two. He is Mr. T. H. Shepherd, of Alpha Road, Parnell.
