DIVORCE.
An undefended divorce petition was taken before Mr. Justice Herdman in the Supreme Court this morning, when Henry George Samways (Mr. J. J. Sullivan) obtained a decree nisi against Ivy Pearl Samways. It was stated that the parties were married on August 8, 1919. In 1923 the respondent left the petitioner and went to Sydney, it was understood, with another man. She wrote to the petitioner two and a-half years later, and asked to be taken back. The petitioner had not taken any notice of this, and the parties had" not lived together since.
