SCORES PARTICIPATING. Information from Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin is to the effect that the interest taken in the contest from the outset exceeded all expectations. The Wellington manager advises that the competition is in full swing, not only in the city, but in Palmerston North, Napier, and Masterton. In Wellington, two of the leading business concerns Have offered special prizes to the winner.
