DEADLY LOVE PHILTRES.
A VICTIM OF SMUGGLERS. NEW YORK, August 25. When a post mortem was held on Dorothy Kirk (21), who died in Cleveland under suspicious circumstances, her stomach was found to be full of strange drugs. As a result her fiance, Emil was arrested. Questioned he said he had given her narcotics as love philtres, to arouse her love for him. The police, however, reject this stnrv and declare the girl was the innoeeii. victim of drug smugglers.
