KEMAL'S ENEMIES.
EXECUTION SCENES. " AFTER ME, THE DELUGE !" CONSTANTINOPLE, August 29. Djavid Bey, before his execution for participation in the recent plot against Mustapha Kemal, said: "This is the end. After mc, the deluge!" Nail Bey asked the hangman to give his compliments to the president of the tribunal, whom he knew well. He described himself as feeling like the victim of a motor accident. While Kilmi Bey was being hanged, the pulley jammed, necessitating a second attempt being made. — (A. and N.Z.)
