AUCKLAND ROAD RACE. The Auckland Athletic and Cycling CluD held a 40 miles race on Saturday round the Mangere Block, the result being: W. Hills 1. Brenan 2, Carr 3. Fastest time: W Hills 3h 6m 355. Two steamers well known in New Zealand shipping circles are to be renamed. The Waimana, which has carried the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's flag for a number of years, is to be called the Herminitia, and the White Star steamer Zealandic will be known as the Mamilius. Both vessels, which will be controlled by the Aberdeen Line, are to enter the general cargo trade between England and Australia. Stomach Catarrh.
