AUCKLAND CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP. WIN El" K. D. WRIGHT. The Auckland Golf Club's championship was concluded at Middlemore on Saturday, R. D. Wright winning from \\. S. Halph, 9 up and 7 to play. Wright was 4 up on the morning's play with a round of 77 against Ralph's SO. Wright's afternoon display was faultless, with even fours to the ninth hole. Kalph's game deteriorated, and the finish came at the eleventh hole. It was Wright's finest display in any championship. The final of the junior championship was nlxo played, C. N. Jaeobsen defeating H. ]\ K. Foster, !) and 8. Jacobsen played good golf, going round in S.> and M. Foster, who was five down at Hie end of the first round, was unable to hold him. The C grade championship reached thn semi-final stage, the results of matches being as follow: K. IX Mill heat S. L. Lud'tirook at the llWh ; J. M. Stokes beat A. Kinder, 5 and 4 ; H. C. Bull beat F. 0. Austin, c and 4; 3. A. Carr beat H. W. Wilson, 5 and 4. * medal competition for the George Cup was played, .">2 players taking part. The best cards were as follow: P. H.
